Eligible Competitors
The price match applies to quotes or listed prices from authorised UK-based jewellery retailers operating as legitimate trading businesses. The following are not eligible:
- Auction or marketplace platforms (eBay, Etsy, Vinted, Facebook Marketplace)
- Grey market or unverified online sellers
- Retailers based outside the United Kingdom
- Private sellers or second-hand listings
- Liquidation, closing-down, or clearance sales
Like-for-Like Comparison
To qualify, the competitor item must be identical in all material respects, including:
- Diamond: carat weight (within 0.05ct), cut, colour, clarity, and certification body (GIA or IGI only)
- Metal: type (e.g. platinum, 18ct yellow gold) and purity
- Setting style: substantially the same design
- Availability: in stock and available for immediate purchase at the competitor at the time of the claim
Uncertified diamonds, diamonds certified by unrecognised grading labs, and lab-grown diamonds are not comparable to natural diamonds, and vice versa.
What Is Not Covered
- Bespoke or custom-designed items unique to Diamond Hub
- Items already purchased or in production
- Competitor promotional codes, vouchers, or loyalty discounts
- Prices obtained through trade, staff, or insider discount schemes
- Typographical errors or mispriced listings
- Bundle deals where the individual item price cannot be verified
How to Submit a Claim
Claims must be submitted before placing your order with Diamond Hub. We require a screenshot or direct URL clearly showing the competitor's name, product specification, and price. Claims submitted after an order is placed will not be accepted.

Our Decision
Diamond Hub reserves the right to verify all claims and to decline any price match request at our reasonable discretion. Verification may include contacting the competitor directly. Our decision is final.
This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Validity
These terms apply to all price match claims from the date of publication and may be updated at any time. The version in force at the time of your claim will apply.
