Three stones for past, present and future — the trilogy is the most narrative-rich of all engagement ring styles. The Lyra uses a centre pear flanked by smaller hearts to create a more romantic silhouette than the symmetrical round/oval/round trilogy most jewellers offer. The pear points to the wearer, which is the traditional orientation.

Picking the side stones

We size the side stones to balance the centre — typically each side stone is about 50% of the centre's carat weight, which keeps the centre clearly dominant while still giving the trilogy visual presence. You can specify equal-size stones if you prefer a more uniform look.
